COVID Protocol for Symposium

COVID PROTOCOL FOR SYMPOSIUM

The health and safety of our participants, instructors, and volunteers during our annual symposium are of the utmost importance.  In order to meet these needs, the WMCKA Board has adopted the following Covid protocols:

  • All participants, instructors, and volunteers must show evidence of full vaccination as defined by the CDC (including booster if eligible) OR a negative PCR COVID test taken within 48 hours of arrival. This applies to all participants ages five and over.
  • Medical grade masks must be worn in all communal indoor spaces except when eating, showering, or in cabins..  Medical grade masks include N95s, KN95s, and surgical masks.
  • Anyone developing symptoms of COVID-19 while at the symposium must immediately quarantine and take a rapid test available from program organizers.
  • WMCKA reserves the right to modify these protocols and agrees to promptly notify participants if CDC guidance changes before the symposium.

If you have any questions or concerns about these protocols, please email Courtney Reid at mcreid1@att.net
