Meet Friday, July 21, 2023, at Straights State Campground in St Ignace.  From there, we have many great paddle options depending on conditions and interests. Mackinac Island, Wilderness State Park, straits crossing, and any number of spots along the south shore of the UP are possibilities.

We have reserved two sites (163 and 150) in Upper straights park.  Contact us if you want to share one of these spots or are reserving another.

Straits State Park

For this trip, we require a suitable sea kayak (13 feet + long, double bulkheads for flotation, with deck lines, skirt).  PFDs are required to be worn at all times on the water.  Please contact treasurer@wmcka.org with any questions.
